INFORMATION NOTE ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
issued in compliance with Article 13 of the Personal Data Protection Code

Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (hereinafter, the Code), and in relation to the personal data of which the law firm Studio Legale Associato Avvocati De Meo will become Holder with the assignment of your case, we inform you as follows:

1. Purposes of the data processing
The data are processed solely for the correct and complete execution, both in and out of court, of the professional mandate conferred on the Law Firm

2. Data processing methods
a) The processing may be carried out with or without the aid of electronic, or automated, tools; b) the processing may be carried out by the Data Holder and/or by the appointed data processing operators

3. Conferral of the data
The conferral of ordinary, sensitive and judicial personal data is strictly necessary for the performance of the activities referred to under point 1

4. Refusal to confer the data
Should the person concerned refuse to confer his/her personal data for the purpose referred to under point 3, it will be impossible to perform the activities referred to under point 1

5. Communication of the data
The personal data may become known to the appointed data processing operators and may be communicated for the purposes referred to under point 1 to external collaborators, subjects operating in the judicial sector, counterparties and their defense counsels, arbitration boards and, in general, all public and private subjects to whom the communication is due, necessary or opportune for the correct fulfilment of the purpose referred to under point 1

6. Disclosure of the data
The personal data shall not be disclosed except as necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose referred to under point 1

7. Transferal of the data abroad
The personal data may be transferred to European Union countries and to third countries within the sphere of the purpose referred to under point 1

8. The rights of the person concerned
Article 7 of the Code entitles the person concerned to exercise certain rights, including to obtain from the Holder confirmation of the existence or non-existence of his/her personal data and availability to the same in an intelligible form, to know the source of the data, the processing purposes and methods, and the identity details of the Holder and of the subjects to whom the data may be communicated; the person concerned may also request the updating and/or the correction of the data, additions made to the same, or to have the data cancelled, transformed into an anonymous form or blocked if processed in breach of the law; the Holder has the right to oppose the processing of the data in the case of legitimate grounds
